Synopsis
Night, national road. Two strangers meet for the first time at an old gas station. One has stopped to gas up his bike, while the other is just stranded. Lacking the 22.50 EUR he needs to get home, he will try to sell him the distance that separates them from the sky.
About the author
Vasilis Kekatos was born in Kefalonia, in 1991. He studied Cinema at the Brunel Fine Arts School, in London. Already in 2014 he made his directorial debut with the short film Retrograde, which premiered at the Short Film Festival in Drama. In 2016, he won the first prize at the Sundance short film competition and received a scholarship by the Sundance Institute for his film Zero Star Hotel. His next film The Silence of the Dying Fish was screened at numerous international film festivals.
