SYNOPSIS

Film represents a twelve-year journey following Šonji’s adventure from a mischievous boy on the streets of Budapest to a disillusioned young man. Inspired by an unusual friendship with filmmakers Dávid and Bálint, the film captures Šonji’s life path marked by family struggles, troubles at school, and the burden of surrogate fatherhood in his relationship with his newborn sister. As Šonji confronts the challenges of adolescence, the filmmakers transition from active participants to observers of his life’s turbulence, culminating in a tragic twist that forces him to face the responsibilities of adulthood.
