RTCG and ID Vijesti with FAST FORWARD 2017

Centre for Civic Education (CCE) organizes eighth edition of FAST FORWARD Human Rights Film Festival 2017 that will be held from 10 to 16 December 2017 in Podgorica, Kotor and Berane, with a series of now already traditional and new partners as well.

Central programme will be in PI Cultural-Informative Centre ’Budo Tomovic’ in Podgorica from 10 to 14 December 2017, with accompanying editions in Berane, in Cultural Centre, from 11 to 12 December 2017, and in Kotor from 15 to 16 December in Cinema «Boka».

Recognizing the importance of this Festival, ID Vijesti and portal Vijesti as well as public service Radio and Television of Montenegro (RTCG) will provide support to its realization also this year.

In accordance with signed contracts Vijesti and RTCG will dedicate full media attention via provision of representation of Festival in regular news and other programmes, as well as via promotion of Festival through regular announcements. CCE will present Vijesti and RTCG in promotional material of Festival as media sponsors, give priority for interviews with Festival guests etc. In this manner a perennial cooperation of CCE and public service RTCG and independent daily Vijesti continues in realization of FAST FORWARD Human Rights Film Festival, the first and still the only of its kind in Montenegro, which in addition to Podgorica, inscribes also Kotor and Berane in the cultural map of those cities in the region that cherish this sort of festival events.

FAST FORWARD Human Rights Film Festival has an objective to contribute to raising awareness of citizens on the importance of human rights and their protection and improvement, via film, as a value framework that encourages harmonious relations between those who are different on any grounds.

The VIII FAST FORWARD Human Rights Film Festival 2017 brings the so far richest selection of films that creatively, strongly, poignantly and emotionally tell stories on the importance of the fight for human rights, human dignity and persistence from the perspective of the films’ authors. These films cannot leave you indifferent, hence the motto of this year Festival is QUESTIONNING BORDERS!
